Witnesses are sought by officers investigating a collision near Herne Bay.
Kent Police was called at 4.07pm on Friday 10 May 2024 to a report of a collision involving a silver Citroen and a second vehicle on the A2990, Thanet Way at a red light crossing, near to the roundabout joining Greenhill Bridge Road.
It was reported that the second vehicle, believed to be a small silver van, left the scene following the collision and was driven along the A2990 in the direction of Chestfield.
Officers attended along with South East Coast Ambulance Service and a person was taken to a local hospital for medical treatment.
Enquiries to locate the driver of the second vehicle are ongoing and police are appealing to witnesses, or anyone with relevant dashcam footage, to come forward.
