Witnesses and dashcam footage are sought by officers investigating a theft of copper cabling from a site in Ashford.
Kent Police received a report that, on the afternoon of Tuesday 21 April 2026, cabling was stolen from a telecommunications site near to Maidstone Road.
Cables had reportedly been tampered with near to a manhole on a footpath between Warren Lane and Quantock Drive.
Initial enquiries were completed and officers are appealing to witnesses, including those with dashcam footage, to come forward.
Anyone who was in the area between 3pm and 3.45pm, who may have relevant information to assist the ongoing investigation, should contact Kent Police on 01843 222289 quoting 46/63754/26.
