Appeal following dangerous dog incident in Broadstairs

Witnesses are sought following reports of 2 dogs being dangerously out of control in Broadstairs.

At around 10.15pm on Wednesday 24 June 2026, the dogs are alleged to have attacked a woman and her cat on Norman Road.

The victim sustained multiple cuts to her hands, while the cat died from its injuries.

The dogs are described as stocky and were being walked on long leads by a woman. One of the dogs is described as a white pitbull breed.

Officers have completed a number of enquiries since the incident to locate the dogs and identify their owner. They are now appealing to the public for information.
