Witnesses, CCTV and dashcam footage are sought following a fatal collision in Herne Bay.
Kent Police was called to Heart in Hand Road, Herne Bay, at 11.36am on Friday 22 May 2026 following reports of a collision involving two vehicles.
Emergency services attended and an 88 year old man was taken to a local hospital. He sustained serious injuries and has since sadly died.
His next of kin have been made aware.
Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit are making enquiries into the circumstances surrounding the incident and urge anyone who saw the collision, or who might have seen the vehicles beforehand, to contact police.
Motorists who were in the area are urged to check for any dashcam footage, which may assist the investigation.
