Witnesses and dashcam footage are sought by officers investigating a fatal collision in Longfield, Dartford.
Kent Police was called at 5.08am on Thursday 26 June 2025 to a report that a car and a motorbike had collided on Main Road near to the junction with Station Road.
The motorcycle, a silver Yahama MT10, was reportedly travelling west on Main Road and the car, a beige Vauxhall Zafira, was travelling in the opposite direction before the incident occurred.
Officers attended along with South East Coast Ambulance Service and the motorcyclist, a man in his 60s, was confirmed deceased. His next of kin has been informed.
The driver of the car received treatment from paramedics at the scene.
Investigators from Kent Police's Serious Collision Investigation Unit are carrying out enquiries and are urging anyone with relevant information to come forward.
Officers are particularly keen to speak to witnesses in the Hartley Road area who may have CCTV.
