Witnesses are sought to a fatal collision which took place near Appledore.
At 3.30pm on Monday 4 May 2026, a red and purple Triumph Speed Twin motorbike was travelling in a northerly direction in convoy with a group of riders on Military Road, when it left the carriageway on the offside and struck a hedgerow.
Emergency services attended and the motorcyclist, a man in his 60s, was confirmed deceased at the scene. His next of kin has been informed.
Officers are investigating the incident and are appealing for anyone with information or relevant dashcam footage to come forward.
