Witnesses, CCTV and dashcam footage are sought following a fatal collision near Sevenoaks.
Kent Police was called at 9.35am on Thursday 11 June 2026, to a collision between a red Honda motorcycle and white Citroen Dispatch panel van on the A227 Tonbridge Road in Ightham.
Officers attended alongside fire crews and paramedics, and the 80 year old motorcyclist was pronounced deceased at the scene.
His next of kin is aware.
Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit are making enquiries into the circumstances surrounding the incident and urge anyone who saw the collision, or who might have seen the vehicles beforehand, to contact police.
Motorists who were in the area are urged to check for any dashcam footage, which may assist the investigation.
