Appeal following fatal collision near Teynham

Witnesses, CCTV and dashcam footage are sought by officers investigating a fatal collision near Teynham.
Kent Police was called at around 8.35pm on Friday 25 September 2026 following reports of a collision involving a black BMW 420D car and a motorbike on the A2 London Road coastbound near the junction with Lewson Street.
The motorcyclist, who was driving a black Yamaha MT-09, suffered serious injuries and was sadly confirmed deceased at the scene.
An 18 year old man was arrested at the scene for causing death by dangerous driving and remains in custody whilst enquiries continue.

Investigators from Kent Police's Serious Collision Investigation Unit are urging anyone with relevant information or footage to come forward.
