Investigators are appealing for information following a fatal collision on the M25 near Orpington.
The incident took place anti-clockwise between Junction 3 and 4 at around 4pm on Sunday 17 July 2022.
A black Nissan Qashqai was in collision with a grey Ford Transit van in lane two. The Qashqai then collided with a tree on the nearside embankment.
Kent Police officers attended along with South East Coast Ambulance Service, where a woman was pronounced deceased at the scene. She had been travelling as a passenger in the Qashqai along with another woman who was airlifted to a London hospital with serious injuries.
A man, who was driving, along with a child reported minor injuries. The driver of the van was unharmed.
Officers from Kent Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit are carrying out enquiries into the incident and would like to hear from any witnesses or anyone who saw the vehicles involved beforehand. They are also appealing for anyone with dashcam or any other video footage to come forward.
