Officers investigating reports of inappropriate behaviour in and around a Maidstone park are appealing for witnesses.
Between 9 March and 16 April 2025, Kent Police received three reports of a man behaving suspiciously. He is alleged to have followed a woman and a teenage boy in Mote Park and another woman in Penenden Heath Road.
On 4 April, a man in his 20s was detained in connection to offences of a similar nature in Maidstone town centre as part of an ongoing investigation.
He has since been bailed pending further enquiries.
Anyone with information or who may have been followed, and has not yet reported it to Kent Police, is urged to call the west Kent appeals line on 01622 604100, quoting reference 16-0006.
Local residents with private CCTV or drivers with dashcam, who may have been in the area at the time of the incident, are also asked to check for footage.
