Residents in several roads near Rusthall are being urged to check CCTV and doorbell cameras after a man exposed himself in front of a woman and a child.
The offender was seen with his trousers removed in a location close to St Paul’s Church and the A264 Langton Road. The incident happened at around 2.05pm on Thursday 24 July 2025, as the woman was walking with her child in a wooded area of the Happy Valley.
Police have been carrying out extensive enquiries to identify the suspect, who was white, of slim build and possibly in his 40s. He was wearing a black t-shirt and a light-coloured baseball cap.
Officers are keen to examine any camera footage from homes in roads where the suspect may have approached from.
These potentially include along Nevill Park, Nevill Court, The Midway and Tea Garden Lane.
Detective Inspector Chris Mayers said:
‘This was a deeply distressing incident for the victim and her young child, and we are treating it with the utmost seriousness. We are appealing to anyone who may have a man acting suspiciously in the area to come forward. This includes asking for residents to please check any camera footage which may show the route he took. Your information, no matter how small it may seem, could be vital to our investigation.’
