Witnesses and footage are sought by officers investigating a reported assault in Canterbury city centre.
Kent Police was called to The Parade just before 9pm on Monday 29 June 2026.
A disturbance is alleged to have broken out near to the junction with Rose Lane. Two men were outside premises in the area and a man was reportedly assaulted.
Officers attended and a man in his 50s, who sustained a head injury, was taken to a local hospital where he remains receiving treatment.
Initial enquiries were completed and a short while later, a 32 year old man from Folkestone was arrested on suspicion of assault. He has since been bailed with conditions while enquiries continue.
An investigation is ongoing and officers are urging anyone with information to assist them to come forward.
