Appeal following reported assault in Folkestone

A CCTV image has been issued by officers investigating a reported assault in Radnor Park Road, Folkestone.

It is alleged that on Thursday 20 August 2026 at 8.20am, a delivery driver was assaulted outside of a business in an unprovoked attack. A man who was unknown to him reportedly cut the victim’s arm with a bladed object before walking off in the direction of Kingsnorth Gardens.

The victim attended a local hospital for treatment but was not seriously injured.

An investigation has been launched, and detectives are now able to issue an image of a man who may be able to assist with their enquiries.

Witnesses who saw the incident, or anyone who recognises this man, and have not yet spoken to the police should get in touch. Motorists with dashcam and residents or business owners with private CCTV are also asked to check for relevant footage.
