Appeal following reported burglary in Maidstone

Witnesses and private CCTV footage are sought following a report of a burglary near Maidstone.

Kent Police was called at 2.26am on Monday 7 September 2026 to a report of two men breaking into a shop in Mangravet Avenue.

It is alleged the suspects stole a quantity of tobacco products before leaving the scene on foot.

Officers attended and carried out initial enquiries, including a review of available CCTV.

An investigation is underway to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
