Witnesses are sought following a reported robbery in Ramsgate.
Kent Police was contacted at 11.45pm on Sunday 18 August 2024 with a third-party report that a man had been assaulted by two other men in La Belle Alliance Square and had his backpack stolen.
Officers attended the scene and arrested a 55-year-old man nearby on suspicion of robbery. He has since been released.
The victim of the reported offence was not at the scene and has not come forward since the incident.
Investigating detectives are urging the victim or any witnesses who have yet to speak to police to get in touch.
