Detectives are appealing for witnesses following a robbery in Folkestone.
The incident occurred in Clarence Street at around 11.30pm on Monday 17 March 2025. A woman was walking along Clarence Street when she had her bag stolen by the suspect. The victim’s bag contained a debit card, a credit card, and cash.
The victim sustained minor injuries which did not need hospital treatment.
A 46-year-old man from Folkestone has been arrested and is currently in custody on suspicion of robbery.
Officers are investigating the robbery and would like to speak to anyone who heard or saw anything suspicious around that time.
