Appeal following robbery in Wye

Officers are appealing for witnesses following a reported robbery in Wye on Monday 14 September 2026.

A woman in her 40s was driving an orange MG4 EV when she pulled over at the junction of Canterbury Road and Harville Road at 11.45pm.

After exiting the vehicle, a man she did not know is reported to have struck the victim with an unknown object before driving away in a Ford Fiesta.

The victim later discovered that two bank cards were missing. She received minor injuries that were treated at a local hospital.

Officers are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident and are keen to hear from witnesses and anyone driving in that area with dashcam footage.
