Investigators are appealing for witnesses following a report of a serious assault in Maidstone.
At 9.56pm on Sunday 22 May 2022, Kent Police was called by South East Coast Ambulance Service to an injured man in Bicknor Road.
Officers attended the scene where the man was taken by air ambulance to a London hospital, with injuries consistent with stab wounds. He has since been discharged.
A 57-year-old local man was arrested on suspicion of assault and was later bailed to return to the police station on 17 June, pending further enquiries.
Enquiries are underway into the circumstances and investigators are urging witnesses, or anyone with information, to call Kent Police on 01622 604100, quoting reference 22-1446.
