Officers investigating a serious assault in Maidstone are appealing for witnesses.
On Friday 16 January 2026, between 4.30pm and 5.10pm, it is reported two men were involved in a verbal altercation in the car park at the Rose Inn pub in Ashford Road, Bearsted.
One of them is alleged to have got into a white Ford Transit van which was then involved in a collision with the other man.
He was subsequently treated at hospital for leg and head injuries.
A 36 year old man was arrested in connection with the incident on Friday 30 January and has since been released on bail.
Officers are urging anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who has any information to get in touch on 01622 604100 quoting 46/10146/26.
