Dashcam footage and witnesses are sought following a serious collision in Alkham.
Kent Police was called to the incident on Alkham Valley Road, which passes under the A20, at 9pm on Monday 25 August 2025. It is reported that a collision took place involving a blue Seat Ibiza and a silver BMW.
Officers attended along with paramedics from South East Coast Ambulance Service. Both drivers suffered injuries described as being life changing, with one driver taken to local hospital, and the other conveyed to a London hospital for treatment.
Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) are urging motorists who were in the area at the time to check for any relevant dashcam footage. Specifically, they would like to speak to the driver of a white hatchback car that was travelling along the Alkham Valley Road towards Folkestone and who may have witnessed the incident.
Footage can be uploaded via our online portal here.
Witnesses who have not yet spoken to the police should contact SCIU on 01622 798538, quoting reference XX/SC/060/25, or by emailing [email protected]
