Witnesses, dashcam footage and CCTV are sought by officers investigating a serious collision in East Malling.
Kent Police was called at 1.37pm on Monday 25 May 2026 after a blue Audi A5 and a black Mercedes GLC collided in Wateringbury Road, at the junction with Sweets Lane.
Officers attended the scene alongside Kent Fire and Rescue Service and South East Coast Ambulance Service, where a 9 year old boy was airlifted to a London hospital. He has since been discharged.
A 39 year old woman was also taken to a London hospital for treatment to her injuries, and she remains there in a stable condition.
Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit continue their enquiries into the circumstances surrounding the incident and urge anyone who saw the collision, or who might have seen the vehicles beforehand, to contact police.
Motorists who were in the area are urged to check for any dashcam footage, which may assist the investigation.
