Appeal following serious collision in Folkestone

Witnesses and dashcam footage are sought following a serious collision in Folkestone.

The incident happened near to the junction of Church Road and Pond Hill Road, at around 5.45pm on Tuesday 10 March 2026.

It is reported that a yellow Honda Jazz was travelling from the direction of Horn Street, when it was involved in a collision with a grey Audi A4 that was travelling in the opposite direction.

Patrols and South East Coast Ambulance Service attended, and a woman in her 80s was taken to a London hospital for treatment. She remains in a critical condition.

Officers investigating the incident are urging any witnesses, including those who saw either vehicle prior to the collision, and anyone with dashcam footage, to come forward.
