Dashcam and CCTV footage is sought by officers investigating a serious collision in Rochester.
On the night of Tuesday 8 July 2025 Kent Police was called to an incident involving a black Yamaha motorcycle and a blue Smart car on Watling Street, Strood, between the junctions with Chapter Road and Woodstock Road.
The motorbike is reported to have been travelling from the town centre towards Gravesend.
Officers attended the scene along with paramedics. The motorcyclist, a man in his 30s, was taken to a London hospital where he remains in a serious condition.
Investigators are urging motorists with dashcam who were in the area between 11.25pm and 11.50pm that night, and residents with private CCTV, to check for relevant footage.
They would also like to hear from anybody who saw a white BMW X5 that was allegedly travelling in the same direction as the motorcycle at the time of the collision.
Anyone with information should contact Kent Police on 01634 792209 quoting reference 46/116678/25.
