Witnesses are urged to come forward following a reported sexual assault in Gravesend.
Kent Police was made aware that a woman was accosted whilst walking on Wrotham Road, towards the town centre, at around 9am on Monday 12 May 2025.
The woman attempted to cross the road near to Wrotham Court. She was approached from behind by a man and it is alleged she was touched over her clothing.
The victim was able to move away and walked towards Arthur Street. The suspect later left the scene.
On Tuesday 13 May, a 69 year old man was arrested in connection with the incident and has since been bailed with conditions while enquiries continue.
An investigation is underway and officers are keen to hear from anyone with relevant information, including drivers in the area who may have dashcam footage.
