Officers investigating reports of two sexual assaults in Chatham are appealing for information.
The incident happened in the High Street, near the junction with Clover Street, at around 5.50pm on Saturday 4 November 2023.
Two teenage girls were approached by a man who is reported to have made lewd comments. It is alleged he then kissed one of them on the cheek and touched the other victim’s leg.
The suspect is described as being white, around 60 years old, bald with a number of missing teeth. He was wearing a black leather jacket, blue jeans and black shoes.
PC Jack Kennedy, of the Medway Vulnerability Investigation Team, said:
‘Officers have been completing enquiries into this incident including the review of CCTV in the area.
‘We are appealing to anyone who recognises the description or who may have seen this individual in the town centre in recent weeks to call our appeal line.'
