Officers are appealing for witnesses after a suspect was arrested in connection with an assault in Larkfield near Aylesford.
The incident happened in Abery Drive at approximately 7.15am on Sunday 8 February 2026.
A woman is alleged to have been assaulted by a man she knew inside and outside of a property before a member of the public is said to have intervened.
Investigators are seeking to identify the man who stepped in to assist as well as any witnesses who have not yet spoken to the police.
Courtney Taylor, of High Street, Halling was arrested and charged with strangulation and two counts of assault.
Mr Taylor, 32, was remanded in custody and appeared at Sevenoaks Magistrates’ Court on Monday 9 February 2026.
