Officers investigating allegations of dangerous driving in Sittingbourne are appealing for witnesses.
Kent Police was called at 8.45pm on Friday 6 October 2023 to a report of a van seen driving dangerously in St Michael’s Road.
This vehicle is then reported to have collided with two other vehicles before it stopped on its side in West Street.
Officers attended the scene alongside South East Coast Ambulance Service and Kent Fire and Rescue Service.
The driver was taken to a local hospital for treatment to serious injuries. He was subsequently arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and driving under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol.
The man, who is local and in his 30s, has been bailed pending further enquiries.
