Investigators are appealing for information after it was reported that a woman was assaulted in Rose Gardens, Herne Bay, at 4.50pm on Tuesday 24 June 2025.
Officers are keen to speak to a man who approached officers on Beacon Hill, to report the incident and who may have witnessed the assault. Officers were unable to obtain details from the man at the time because they were required to locate and tend to the victim.
They believe he has information which will assist ongoing investigations.
Officers are also appealing for any witnesses who have not spoken to the police to contact them. Anyone with information should call Kent Police on 01843 222289, quoting reference 46/106895/25.
