Detectives investigating reports of a large disturbance in Ramsgate are appealing for witnesses.
It was reported that on Sunday 5 April 2026 at around 11pm, an altercation involving a group of people took place on Chatham Street. A man and a woman sustained multiple head and facial injuries following the disturbance.
It is understood that all parties were known to each other. Those involved in the incident left the scene before an emergency call was made to police later in the evening.
Initial enquiries were completed, including reviewing CCTV and obtaining witness statements. An investigation is ongoing and anyone with relevant information, who has not yet spoken to officers, is urged to come forward.
Anyone who was in the Chatham Street area around the time of the incident and who may have any information or any video footage, is urged to contact Kent Police on 01843 222289 quoting 46/54332/26.
