Appeal for witnesses following serious assault in Dartford

Officers are appealing for witnesses following a serious assault in Dartford. The incident happened at around 8.30pm on Friday 11 September in the High Street.
It is reported the there was an altercation between six people following a verbal disagreement. Patrols and paramedics were called to the location where a man in his 40s had suffered injuries consistent with stab wounds. It is understood that those involved are known to each other.
He was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
Three people have since been arrested in connection with the incident, a 33 year old man, a 49 year old man and a 37 year old woman. They all remain in custody whilst enquiries continue.
An investigation is ongoing, and officers are appealing to anyone who saw a man being assaulted to contact our appeal line. CCTV in the town centre is being reviewed and anyone with relevant mobile phone footage is also urged to get in touch.
