Appeal in Ashford rape investigation

Officers investigating a reported rape in Ashford are appealing for witnesses.
It is reported that a woman was raped by a man who is known to her in the New Town Green area of the town between 1am and 4am on Tuesday 10 January 2023.
An 18-year-old man has been arrested as part of the investigation and released on bail.

As part of their enquiries into the incident, officers would like to speak to anyone with information.
In particular, they would like to speak to two men seen in Newtown Road around that time, who are believed to have given the victim a coat.
