An appeal for witnesses has been issued following a fatal collision involving two vehicles near Sittingbourne.
It was reported that a black KTM Duke motorcycle was travelling in Lower Road, Tonge, in the direction of Teynham, when it was involved in a collision with a blue VW Transporter van which was travelling in the opposite direction towards Sittingbourne. The collision took place at 4.50pm on Saturday 25 April 2026.
The motorcyclist, a 17 year old local boy, sustained fatal injuries and was declared deceased at the scene.
Anyone who saw the collision, or who might have seen the vehicles beforehand, is urged to contact police.
