A suspected burglar has been arrested by officers investigating a break-in in Hythe.
Kent Police was contacted on the morning of Wednesday 18 September 2024 and it was reported that a business in the town’s High Street had been broken into and a number of bicycles stolen.
Following an investigation, a 34 year old man was arrested on suspicion of burglary on Tuesday 5 November 2024.
Cannabis was found during a subsequent search of a property in Ashford and the man was further arrested on suspicion of drugs offences.
He has since been released on bail and the investigation is ongoing.
Police continue to appeal to anyone who recognises two men pictured in CCTV images previously released to call Kent Police on 01843 222289 quoting reference 46/158499/24.
