Detectives are appealing for witnesses following a disturbance in Swanscombe that resulted in multiple arrests.
The incident happened in London Road at around 1.30pm on Wednesday 14 August 2024.
Patrols attended the scene where a man was treated for serious injuries. He was taken to hospital where he remains in a stable condition.
A second man was conveyed to a local hospital for injuries consistent with a stab wound and has since been discharged. Officers recovered a machete at the scene.
Two men, aged 19 and 23, and a woman, aged 18, were arrested on suspicion of assault.
A third man, aged 23, was also detained for assault on the following day.
The 19-year-old man and the 18-year-old woman have since been bailed to return to the police station pending further investigation. The two other men remain in police custody.
Investigators are urging anyone who witnessed the incident and has not yet spoken to the police, to contact the appeal line on 01474 366149, quoting reference 46/137183/24.
Residents with private CCTV and motorists with dashcam are also asked to check for any relevant footage.
