Three people have been arrested following reported robberies in Gravesend, with CCTV images being released as part of an ongoing investigation.
The incidents took place in the town centre on two separate days in November 2025.
On 9 November, a shop owner was reportedly restrained while high value phones were stolen.
Later that month, on 26 November, multiple people were threatened in New Road and King Street and had their phones stolen by several men. The group also targeted a shop but left empty-handed.
Enquiries including the examination of CCTV were completed and on Wednesday 14 January 2026, three men were arrested in connection with the incidents. Two were released on conditional bail pending further enquiries.
David Owusu, 19, of Mary Neuner Road, London has been charged with robbery. He appeared at Medway Magistrates’ Court and was released on conditional bail until his next appearance at Maidstone Crown Court on Friday 13 February.
Detectives are continuing their enquiries to identify other suspects and are now in a position to release images of people they believe may be able to help with their investigation.
