Officers who have been investigating a report of an assault in Tunbridge Wells have now released an image of a person they would like to speak to.
At around 9.30pm on 16 April 2022, a man in his 20s was sitting on a bench outside a public house in The Pantiles, when it is alleged he was punched by a man he did not know.
The victim suffered a cut to his mouth and bruising that required hospital treatment.
Police Sergeant Liza McIver-Hall said: ‘Officers have been making enquiries into this incident including the examination of potential CCTV footage in the area.
‘We are now able to issue an image of a man who may be able to assist with our enquiries.’
