Images have been issued by officers investigating a violent assault on two women at Mote Park in Maidstone.
It is alleged the victims were punched, kicked and spat at, after they were approached by a man and woman who were unknown to them.
The assault happened at around 4pm on 29 July 2021, on a footpath close to a lake.
The suspects had been sitting on a bench and were with two children. The woman is reported to have accused the victims of staring at them before she and the man carried out the unprovoked assault.
One of the victims suffered facial injuries and it is reported the man also spat in her face.
Officers investigating the incident are now appealing to members of the public for help in identifying two people who they would like to speak to.
Anyone who recognises them, or has information which may assist the investigation, is asked to call Kent Police on 01622 604100, quoting reference 46/135658/21.
