A CCTV image has been issued following a report of an attempted robbery at a bookmakers in Edenbridge.
Officers are investigating allegations a man tried to steal money which had been won by a customer at a branch of Coral, in the High Street.
The incident happened at around 5.30pm on 28 July 2023, shortly after the victim had collected winnings made on a gambling machine.
It is reported a man who had been sitting next to her suddenly became aggressive and threw a stool at one of the machines.
The suspect is said to have then approached the victim, who was standing at a counter, and made unsuccessful efforts to grab cash from her hands. He then left the scene.
As part of their enquiries, officers are keen to speak to the person pictured.
Anyone who recognises him or has information which may assist the investigation, should contact Kent Police on 01622 604100, quoting reference 46/135350/23.
