Witnesses are sought following a report two women attempted to rob a pensioner in Gravesend.
The victim, a woman in her 80s, was walking in the pedestrianised section of Windmill Street when she fell over, at around 11.30am on Monday 25 March 2024.
While on the ground it is alleged two women attempted to steal her jewellery, before the victim cried out and they left the scene empty-handed.
The suspects are described as being aged in their 30s, around five feet tall and with dark-coloured hair.
Officers are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident to contact them. Residents or businesses with private CCTV are also asked to check for relevant footage.
