Detectives are investigating a report of an attempted robbery in Edenbridge.
The incident happened at around 9.10am on Sunday 3 April 2022, as a woman in her 60s walked from the High Street into Lingfield Road.
Two men approached the woman and are alleged to have assaulted her whilst demanding money.
One tried to take the victim’s handbag, but she managed to keep hold of it. The two men then walked off empty-handed into the High Street.
They are described as being white and in their 20s. Both were wearing dark clothing, black woollen hats and black face coverings.
Detective Constable Billie-Louise Mills, of the Chief Constable’s Crime Squad, said: ‘The victim suffered cuts and bruises, and went to hospital for medical attention after the incident.
‘Investigators are examining CCTV in the area and we are urging witnesses or anyone with information to call the appeal line.
'We are also asking motorists with dashcam and residents with privately held CCTV, to check for footage that may assist the investigation.’
