Investigators have issued a CCTV image following a report that a man was assaulted during a cycle theft in Gillingham.
The incident happened in Yeoman Drive during the afternoon of Friday 23 May 2025.
Two men are alleged to have stolen a bike that had been advertised for sale, after viewing it at a private address.
A member of the public who intervened is also reported to have been assaulted and threatened.
PC Harry Hamilton said:
‘We have been completing enquiries into this incident and are now able to issue a CCTV image of a man who may be able to assist with our enquiries.
‘It is hoped that somebody who knows the person contacts our appeal line.’
