Officers investigating a serious assault in Maidstone have released a CCTV image of a person they would like to speak to.
The incident happened at around 2.10am on Sunday 10 April 2022, at the Social Chill Bar in Week Street.
The victim, a man in his 20s, is alleged to have been struck in the face by an unknown object.
He suffered a serious facial cut and bruising and was taken to hospital for medical attention.
Detective Constable Kim Bashford, of Maidstone CID, said: ‘This entirely unprovoked assault has left the victim with appalling injuries that will require ongoing treatment.
'We have been completing enquiries in the area, including the examination of CCTV footage, and are now releasing images of a person who may be able to assist with our enquiries.
‘While the images are blurred, we are hoping somebody will recognise him and call our appeal line.’
