CCTV appeal following assault in Shoreham

A CCTV image has been released by officers investigating an assault in Shoreham.

Kent Police is investigating a report of assault at The Samuel Palmer, Church Street, which took place shortly after 6pm on Saturday 22 November 2025. It was reported that a woman was assaulted by a man in an unprovoked attack.

The suspect, who is not known to the victim, then left the scene. He is described as white, with short brown hair and wearing a dark jacket at the time of the incident.

Officers attended the scene where no injuries were reported, and initial enquiries were completed. Investigators are now able to release an image of a man who may be able to help with their enquiries.

Anyone who may have relevant information, including mobile phone footage, who has not yet spoken to police, is urged to come forward. Witnesses should contact Kent Police on 01622 604100 quoting 46/201548/25.
