A CCTV image has been issued by officers investigating an assault at a pub in Folkestone.
Kent Police was called to The Samuel Peto in Rendezvous Street just after 11pm on Friday 30 January 2026.
A man approached a booth on the upper floor of the premises to meet friends. Two men not known to him were sitting nearby.
It is reported that, shortly afterwards, a disturbance broke out and the man was assaulted. The suspect then left the establishment.
Officers attended along with paramedics, who treated the victim for facial injuries.
Initial enquiries were completed and investigators have now issued a CCTV image of a man who may have important information.
Anyone who recognises him, and witnesses who may be able to assist the ongoing investigation, should contact Kent Police on 01843 222289 quoting 46/16725/26.
