A CCTV image has been released by officers investigating an indecent exposure in Gillingham.
Kent Police was made aware of an incident near to Great Lines Heritage Park on Tuesday 20 May 2025.
A girl was walking along Brompton Road in the direction of the High Street at around 7pm that evening. She became aware that a man, who was unknown to her, was close by.
The girl turned and entered an alleyway opposite Marlborough Road, where she was approached from behind by the same man. It is reported that he exposed himself.
The man left the scene on foot after a bystander intervened.
Officers attended and initial enquiries were completed, including speaking to witnesses and reviewing CCTV.
Investigators are now able to release an image of a man they wish to speak to, since he may have important information. Anyone who recognises the man, or who has relevant information to assist the investigation, is urged to come forward.
Witnesses who have not yet spoken to police, including those with CCTV and dashcam footage, should also call 01634 792209 quoting 46/85576/25.
