Investigators have released a CCTV image of a person who may have important information about an incident of racial abuse in Headcorn.
At around 5.30pm on 17 April 2022, a man who had entered a petrol station in Station Road was asked to remove some suspected stolen items from his pockets.
It is alleged the man became aggressive and used racist language towards a member of staff before exiting.
Investigating officer, PC Katie Blowers, said: ‘We have been completing enquiries into this incident and are now in a position to release an image of a person we wish to speak to.
‘Anybody who recognises the man is urged to contact our appeal line.’
