CCTV appeal following reported assault in Canterbury

A CCTV image has been released by officers investigating a reported assault at a Canterbury nightclub.

Kent Police was called shortly before 2.30am on Thursday 16 July 2026 to The Cuban bar on the High Street, where it is reported a victim was assaulted earlier that morning by a person unknown to him.

Investigation

Officers attended along with paramedics and a man in his 30s was taken to a local hospital for treatment to a head injury. He was later discharged.

Initial enquiries were completed, including speaking to witnesses and reviewing CCTV.

Appeal

An image has now been released of a man who investigators wish to speak to, since he may be able to assist with the ongoing investigation.
