CCTV appeal following reported assault in Canterbury

Images have been released by officers investigating a reported assault in Canterbury.
The incident took place at around 3am on Saturday 12 September 2026, near the corner of St Margaret’s Street and Watling Street.
Assault reported
A man in his 40s had been socialising nearby and it is alleged he was assaulted.
He attended hospital for treatment to facial injuries and the incident was later reported to police.
Appeal
An investigation is underway and CCTV images have been released of a man who officers wish to speak to in connection with the incident, since he may have important information.
