Officers investigating a reported assault in Tunbridge Wells are issuing CCTV images of a man they wish to speak to.
At around 3am on 17 October 2026, the victim and his friend were in Mount Pleasant Road when they were approached by three men they did not know.
Following a short verbal exchange, one of the men is alleged to have thrown the victim to the floor and stamped on his leg.
The group left on foot towards Church Road and the injured man went to hospital for treatment to a serious ankle injury.
Following initial enquiries, including a review of available CCTV, detectives have now released images of a man they believe may be able to help with their enquiries.
Anyone with information is urged to call the west Kent appeals line on 01622 604100, quoting reference 46/173966/26.
Local residents with private CCTV or drivers with dashcam, who may have been in the area at the time of the incident, are also asked to check for footage.
