CCTV images of two men have been released by officers investigating a reported distraction theft in Maidstone town centre.
At around 9.30am on 30 June 2026, a pensioner visited Lloyds TSB in Week Street where he used a cash machine.
Amongst other people at the bank were a man by the main door and a second man who was using a nearby ATM.
The victim, in his 80s, then walked to a shop in The Mall shopping centre, where he realised his bank card was missing.
A short time later it was discovered that a large cash withdrawal had been made from his account.
Appeal
Investigating officers have been completing enquiries into the incident and are now releasing images of two men they would like to speak to.
