Officers investigating a reported sexual assault in Ashford have released a CCTV image of a man who may be able to assist them with their enquiries.
Kent Police was called at 4.28pm on Saturday 3 August 2024 to a report that a 17-year-old girl had been sexually assaulted at a shopping centre on Kimberley Way around half an hour earlier.
It was alleged that a man entered a shop and touched the girl inappropriately over her clothes before leaving the scene.
A CCTV image has now been issued of a man whom officers would like to speak to since he may have important information regarding the incident.
Anyone who recognises the man, or who has relevant information to assist the investigation, should contact Kent Police on 01843 222289 quoting reference 46/130367/24.
